Review: Nairns Gluten Free Oakcakes (Herb & Seed)

NairnsPre Gluten days I loved loved loved having cheese & biscuits. I thought these days were long behind me.

But these tasty little oatcakes hit the spot. They were very tasty and fairly seedy and complimented my cheddar perfectly, I think they would be great with soft cheese too.

The only downside to them is that they are a little bit cardboardie in texture and I think for that reason a plain version of these could be a bit disappointing (not that I have tried them yet!).

They are about £1.50 for 135g (15 Biscuits)- This includes 3 individually wrapped packs of 5- which is great for keeping them fresh. So not horrifically expensive especially if you grab them when the major supermarkets have 3for2 type deals.

So the verdict … I would say they are pretty good for a GF product but defiantly doesn’t compare to non GF ones so they get a 6/10.
