This is a simple and delicious recipe, that I adapted to make GF from the Hairy Bikers Diet cook book. Not only is this recipe GF it is also less than 300 calories per portion.

Gluten Free Junk Food Cravings- Pt2 – The sweet tooth
Gluten Free Junk Food Craving (Link) post, where I illustrated my craving for pizza and chips, that I managed to fulfil without breaking my GF diet; has by far been my most popular post to date. Therefore I thought that I would share another fairly similar tale.
A week before my final charted accounting exam (Fingers crossed!!), I was feeling a bit down in the dumps, a bit emotional and probably hormonal. I had to go to the Mall to take my Macbook to the genius bar, is it kindly decided to stop turning ok… Naught MacBook!!!! I was just in one of those moods, I was exhausted all I wanted to do was slump down when I got home was to have a bit of a Netflix binge and stuff my face, with cake and chocolates, and have a bit of a pity party. Gluten Free Goodies at Temple Quay Markey
Bristol as a city is full of great little finds, one of my favourites pre gluten free days was that every Thursday during the summer months, there would be this awesome food market, with alternated between a market in which you could by produce or one that would offer tasty meals you could eat for lunch.

Gluten Free Carrot Cake Cupcakes
For ages and ages I had been wanting/ dreaming of having a Kitchenaid a bright purple Kitchenaid, ogling them every time I went through a department store, saw one on TV or when I looked at them online (Yes I am aware I was obsessed), but being on significantly less hours at work I really couldn’t justify the cost.
But it turns out I am a very very lucky girl who has the most amazing boyfriend in the world who got me one from my birthday YAY!!!!
I am currently using all of my energy for my up and coming final accounting exam, but I thought that it would be criminal to wait 2 1/2 weeks to use it, so I made these amazing GF carrot cake cupcakes with soft cheese frosting. Continue reading
Gluten Free Junk Food Craving
I’m tired, it has been just one of those days, everyone gets them. All I want is to stuff my face with junk food and defiantly cannot be bothered to cook. Then my mind jumps straight for … dun dun dun! Pizza and chips! Once it is in my mind, it is no longer a want but a need, now I have a one track mind. I am already on my way to Tesco, I pull up in the car park, and it dawns on me; I have probably picked the worst meal ever for someone who is GF.
I huffed and puffed myself into Tesco, trying to rack my mind for something else I wanted, but I couldn’t get my mind off of pizza and chips. So I just figured I would have to start from scratch, not exactly my quick and junk food but being GF often just have to accept that compromises must be made.

Oxtraordinary -GF Review of The Ox (Bristol)
Oxtraordinary -GF Review of The Ox (Bristol)
Steak is kind of my boyfriend and my thing. In our opinion you really cannot beat a good steak.
So for my birthday he booked The Ox (Link) as a surprise, I knew he was taking me out but had no idea where so I was feeling a little anxious as I had recently be accidentally glutened whilst eating out and hadn’t been able to call ahead etc to check there were options.
When we arrived outside the restaurant I was so excited I had wanted to go to The Ox since its opening last year, it is re known for its fabulous stakes and cocktails (which is to be expected as it is twined with the Milk-thistle). Continue reading

Review: Sainsbury’s Free From White Rolls
Bread I think is one of the worst gluten free products out there and so expensive, for such an inadequate product.
Usually miniature and full of holes, so you can barely make a sandwich let alone have a hope in hell for using for a decent bacon sarnie or at a BBQ.
These Sainsbury’s own brand GF white rolls, have defiantly been the best out of a bad bunch. Continue reading
